Itineraries

Here are a couple of suggested itineraries for you to alter to suit your stay. We do advise you book your tours in early to avoid disappointment.

Day 1: Arrive and settle in for the afternoon. You may like to purchase items at the local butcher, bakery and IGA for your stay. You may like to size yourselves up for Mountain Bikes from the General store and book them for a day hire over your stay (the Pemberton Mountain Bike park is at the end of Swimming Pool Rd – you can see it from the front veranda!). Dinner – your choice! BBQ in or eat out!

Day 2: Explore Pemberton – on a guided journey through our National Parks. We suggest starting your stay with a trip on our ‘Beach & Forest Eco Adventure tour’* 4 hour tour through the Yeagarup Dunes to the coast. We give you 20% off this trip when you stay with us!

This tour is an advanced ecotourism accredited tour and gives you enough knowledge to know the region that little bit better! (aka you will leave the trip with a little more appreciation for the region and the things you will be doing for the rest of your stay). Lunch is included on this trip!

Complete your day with a stroll around town – we are 300m from the Pemberton Pool, 400m from the Pemberton Tramway and 3km from the Gloucester tree – one of the Tallest fire lookout trees in the world! Checkout the cafés and nearby wineries before choosing where you will eat for lunch or dinner (or eat in-house).

Day 3: Time to take a hike – grab the map and we’ll drop you off on the Bibbulmun Track near Stirling Rd – a beautiful 14km walk via Big Brook Dam back to Pemberton following the banks of the Lefroy. This is also a great opportunity to grab a bike and enjoy the trails by 2 wheels.

On your return why not celebrate with your friends; head to the Treehouse Tapas bar or book in a Pemberton Wine Discovery Tour* for the afternoon *Lodge Discount 20% (or save that for tomorrow)… or if you feel the need for more forest explore the self guided Karri Forest Explorer Drive. Maps are available in our guest lounge.

We have many options for longer stays! With canoe tours and river cruises, 4WD tag along tour options and camp outs with our forest glamping - why not stay a little longer!

Ask us for more if you are looking to experience Pemberton – one step from Nature.

Please note - Pemberton Lodge was previously known as the Pemberton Bunkhouse.
